Answering three of the most frequently asked questions about eXp Realty.
Today, I'm excited to answer the top three things I've been asked since joining eXp Realty. These will help clarify what we do and how we can help you.
1. Is there truth about the pyramid schemes? When you join eXp, you don't invest any money, and there's no one digging into your pockets or commission. You just need to designate a sponsor who connects you with six other agents within their line of partners. All of these seven people are financially incentivized by the company to help you sell more homes and be productive.
2. What are the fees at eXp Realty? To keep it simple, if you're a solo agent or a team leader, your commission cap to eXp is $16,000, paid at an 80/20 split. Once you've paid your full commission to the company, you get your full commission check. On the other hand, if you're a team member on a standard team of 10 members or less, your commission to eXp is $8,000 paid at the same split. If you're on a mega team of 10 or more, your commission cap is only $4,000. Once you pay that cap, you keep 100% to yourself for the rest of the year. There are also little fees within transactions, such as a $25 broker review fee, a $40 insurance fee that caps out at $500 total, and an $85 tech fee.

3. What does pure partnership and collaboration look like at eXp Realty? When you join eXp, you get attached to seven different business partners who are hopefully doing more business than you and who you can learn from. eXp pays your business partners every time you sell a house. They want to help you sell as many houses as possible and bring in more people to eXp because when you win, they win.
