Get Noticed, Liked, and Trusted: The Best Tools for Creating Real Estate Videos

Updated: May 15, 2023

Transform your real estate business with these video marketing tools.

Do you feel like your video marketing strategy is lacking or perhaps nonexistent? Today I'll discuss a free video marketing strategy that can greatly enhance your business.

In real estate, it's not enough to simply be top of mind. Your marketing efforts should help people get to know, like, and trust you. My strategy over the years has involved three specific types of videos: social proof, educational videos, and videos showing me having fun with my family, and exhibiting my personality. In the future, I'll delve deeper into how I utilize them, but for now, I'll share the tools I use to create these videos.

The primary one is incredibly simple and you're probably holding it right now—your phone. It offers a wealth of great tools. The two I use most frequently are TikTok and Splice. If you're unfamiliar with them, I highly recommend checking them out. TikTok is great for videos of three minutes or less due to its impressive editing features, and it's free. Plus, when you post your video on TikTok, it automatically downloads to your phone, making it easy to share on other platforms. For longer videos, such as motivational ones, I turn to Splice due to its top-notch editing software, user-friendliness, and affordability.

Also, a critical strategy in any real estate agent's business is past client referrals. If you're just touching base via text, email, or occasional client events, you're likely missing opportunities. Sending video texts or messages to your past clients a few times a year, referencing something specific to them or their families, can have a significant impact. In fact, I get a lot of referrals by doing this.

However, be cautious when sending videos from your iPhone to a client. If they're Android users, the video might appear pixelated or distorted. Instead, try using tools like Loom, a free video recording service that allows you to record videos within the platform and send a link via text. Alternatively, you could use BombBomb, which, though it costs a bit, lets you send videos via email without needing to download large video files.

As mentioned earlier, one of my core pillars for video marketing is social proof. If you're finding it challenging to demonstrate your success, don't hesitate to reach out. I have a plethora of ideas on how you can showcase your work, even if you haven't made any sales yet.

If you have any questions about the tools I've discussed, please reach out. I'm happy to share how I use these in my own business. Also, not everyone will be motivated to implement these strategies, and that's okay. If you'd prefer to delegate these tasks, there are resources available.

You can also speak with my associate, Bill Dun, from Vyral Marketing. He can assist you with sending videos without you having to do anything else. At the end of the day, consistency is key. Maintain your efforts and you'll see great success.
